Andy Murray’s Battle: Determination Prevails Amid Retirement Talks

Andy Murray expressed frustration, stating that despite announcing his likely retirement after the Paris Olympics this summer it seems like “no one” is listening. The three times Grand Slam champion and former No. 1 ranked player currently ranked 61st reiterated his decision after a defeat against Andrey Rublev in Indian Wells.

Murray emphasized that he won’t quit despite facing challenging moments in his career. In February, he had a second round loss and made remarks suggesting the game might not be for him anymore but he downplayed it as people reading too much into his on-court statements.

Murray has entered the Arizona Classic on the ATP Challenger Tour providing himself more opportunities for hardcourt tennis before the Miami Open from March 20-31.
