Anfield Welcomes Sven-Goran Eriksson as Liverpool Legends Unite for Charity Game

Sven-Goran Eriksson the former England manager diagnosed with cancer will join Liverpool Legends’ management team for a charity game against Ajax Legends in March at Anfield. Eriksson a Liverpool fan expressed his desire to manage the club and Liverpool supporters urged the club to let him manage a Legends team.

The event aims to raise funds for the LFC Foundation and Eriksson will be part of the dugout alongside Liverpool greats like Ian Rush, John Barnes and John Aldridge. Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp welcomed Eriksson and offered him a day in his office. Eriksson was the first foreign coach of the England national team achieving success in various managerial roles.
