Arsenal Stands Firm on Oleksandr Zinchenko Stay Despite Transfer Speculation

Arsenal has reportedly decided against selling left-back Oleksandr Zinchenko during the upcoming summer transfer window despite rumors suggesting otherwise. The 27 years old Ukrainian international who joined from Manchester City in 2022 has been a crucial player under Mikel Arteta although he recently lost his starting spot due to injury.

Jakub Kiwior has impressed in Zinchenko absence leading to speculation about his own future at the club. Despite interest from Newcastle and Bayern Munich, Arsenal is in no hurry to part ways with Zinchenko largely due to his significant presence in the dressing room and his status as a proven winner.

The defender, under contract until 2026 has made 28 appearances this season contributing one goal and two assists. Arsenal values his contributions and hopes for his return to the starting lineup for their upcoming Champions League clash with Porto.
