Bukayo Saka’s brace contributed to Arsenal’s commanding 5-0 victory over Burnley narrowing the gap to Premier League leaders Liverpool to two points. Martin Odegaard opened the scoring in the fourth minute followed by Saka doubling the lead from the penalty spot.
Saka added a third early in the second half and Leandro Trossard and Kai Havertz also found the net. Arsenal’s dominating performance marked their 21st goal in five Premier League matches since the winter break. Despite the impressive win, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta noted that his team desires even more success.
