West Bromwich Albion currently fifth in the Championship has been under the ownership of Guochuan Lai since 2016. Patel aims to contribute to the club’s future success and honor its rich history. The Baggies have faced financial challenges taking out loans to address ongoing funding needs.

West Bromwich Albion relegated from the Premier League in 2021 is set to host Southampton on Friday. The takeover brings clarity and optimism to the club offering reassurance to staff members facing uncertain futures.
