Carlos Sainz Set for Australian Grand Prix Return After Appendicitis Recovery

Carlos Sainz of Ferrari is poised to make his comeback at the upcoming Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne after recovering from appendicitis surgery. The Spaniard had to sit out the recent Saudi Arabian GP where Oliver Bearman filled in for him finishing seventh. However with Sainz returning, Bearman is likely to return to Formula 2. Ferrari confirmed Sainz’s anticipated return to the car.

Practice for the Australian GP begins at 01:30 GMT on Friday with the race starting at 04:00 on Sunday.
