Delight for Murray as First Win of the Season Revives Spirits

Andy Murray secured his first victory of the 2024 season with an impressive performance defeating France’s Alexandre Muller 6-1, 7-6 (7-5) in the Qatar Open first round. The 36 years old British player ranked 50th ended a six-match losing streak and expressed his delight at the win.

Despite facing a knee injury that required early treatment, Murray displayed encouraging tennis especially with his serving and groundstrokes.
