Fantasy esports platform E-GO App has entered into a partnership with game data platform GRID. Under this collaboration, GRID’s data will be utilized to power E-GO’s League of Legends esports product, marking the introduction of the company’s inaugural League of Legends fantasy season. E-GO App, based in Sweden, focuses on fantasy esports for games like League of Legends and Counter-Strike 2, having secured around £238,000 in investment in January 2023. The first seasonal fantasy league by E-GO is for the 2024 LEC Winter Split, offering a minimum prize pool of $500 (£394).

GRID, known for its association with League of Legends developer Riot Games, holds an official worldwide esports data partner status for League of Legends esports and the VALORANT Champions Tour through a multi-year deal with Riot. The partnership aims to enhance E-GO’s fantasy experience by leveraging GRID’s use of official data, providing a more seamless and diversified esports fantasy experience. Viktor Maisey, CEO of E-GO, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, highlighting the value of official data in offering an engaging fantasy solution for League of Legends esports. In addition to Riot Games, GRID has data collaborations with Ubisoft for Rainbow Six Esports and Indian esports fantasy platform Spectatr by Fanclash.
