Elena Rybakina Shows Grit to Reach Miami Final

Elena Rybakina advanced to the Miami final for the second consecutive year after a hard-fought victory over Victoria Azarenka securing a spot in the deciding tie-break. Despite a challenging second set, Rybakina resilience and composure shone through as she clinched the match with a 6-4, 0-6, 7-6(7-2) win.

Facing former world number one Azarenka, Rybakina demonstrated her mental fortitude staying calm under pressure to secure the victory. She will now face unseeded Danielle Collins in the final with Rybakina aiming to claim the WTA 1,000 title.

Collins who plans to retire at the end of the season reached her first WTA 1,000 final by defeating Ekaterina Alexandrova in a tough battle. Rybakina ability to stay composed and her aggressive playing style were key factors in overcoming Azarenka challenge and securing her spot in the final.
