Everton expects to learn the outcome of their appeal against a 10 points deduction by the end of the month according to manager Sean Dyche. The Toffees appealed the Premier League’s sanction for financial rule breaches in December. Currently 17th in the league, Everton would be 12th without the deduction.
Dyche acknowledges the potential psychological impact on players due to the ongoing uncertainty. The initial deduction in November was the largest in Premier League history. The appeal with the Premier League’s judicial panel will be concluded before the end of the season.
