On-loan midfielder Kalvin Phillips received two yellow cards in three minutes adding to West Ham’s woes.
Forest moved up to 15th place while West Ham’s struggles continued keeping them in eighth. Despite Michail Antonio’s return, West Ham failed to create clear chances. Forest pressed for a second goal and although a potential penalty was denied they held on for the win.
