Haaland’s Missed Opportunities: Manchester City Held to Draw Against Chelsea

Erling Haaland had a forgettable day in Manchester City’s draw against Chelsea missing nine shots including a crucial opportunity late in the game. Despite City’s long unbeaten run being at risk Rodri’s 83rd-minute goal salvaged a draw.

Pep Guardiola attributed the dropped points to a poor first-half performance rather than Haaland’s inability to score expressing confidence that the striker will bounce back in the next game. Guardiola emphasized that creating chances was crucial. City dropped to third in the table but Guardiola believes they deserved to win.

Rodri acknowledged defensive lapses and felt some decisions went against City. The draw puts them four points behind leaders Liverpool with a game in hand. City aims to bounce back against Brentford.
