Hodgson Defends Crystal Palace Amidst Fan Frustration: ‘We’re Doing Our Best’

Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson is confident in his ability to reverse the team’s recent poor form despite their 4-1 defeat to rivals Brighton. The 76 years old acknowledged the challenges faced including taunts from both home and away supporters but emphasized his resilience and determination to see through difficult times.

Hodgson expressed disappointment at the fans’ discontent but defended the club’s efforts and the work of chairman Steve Parish. The defeat against Brighton was compounded by injuries to key players Michael Olise and Marc Guehi adding to the team’s woes. While Hodgson empathized with the fans’ desire for success he highlighted the need for realism in assessing the team’s current situation.

Despite the setbacks, he remains committed to turning things around and is focused on improving results in the future.
