In Birmingham, Indonesia’s Jonatan Christie claimed his first All England Open men’s singles badminton title by defeating compatriot Anthony Sinisuka Ginting 21-15, 21-14. This victory marked Christie maiden Super 1000 win and Indonesia’s first men’s singles title at the tournament since 1994.

In the men’s doubles final, Fajar Alfian and Muhammad Rian Ardianto of Indonesia retained their title with a 21-16, 21-16 win over Malaysia’s Aaron Chia and Soh Wooi Yik.
