Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise is facing another setback with a hamstring injury expected to sideline him for approximately two months. This comes as a significant blow for Palace and their efforts to avoid relegation. Olise who previously missed three months of the season due to a hamstring issue aggravated the injury during a recent match against Sheffield United.
Despite being deemed fit to play he was substituted after just 11 minutes in a subsequent game against Brighton. Manager Roy Hodgson defended his decision to include Olise in the lineup stating that he relied on medical advice. Additionally, Palace defender Marc Guehi sustained a knee injury during the Brighton match but the extent of his absence is expected to be shorter.
