Jack Draper Dominates to Reach Mexican Open Quarter-Finals

Jack Draper advanced to the quarter-finals of the Mexican Open with a convincing straight sets victory over Yoshihito Nishioka. Draper the British No. 3 displayed a dominant performance winning 6-3, 6-0 and will face Miomir Kecmanovic in the next round. Defending champion Alex de Minaur also progressed to the quarter-finals defeating Sebastian Ofner 6-1, 6-3.

De Minaur will meet fifth seed Stefanos Tsitsipas in the next round. Casper Ruud secured a top 10 return with a 6-4, 7-5 win over Dusan Lajovic and will face Ben Shelton in the quarter-finals. In the Dubai Open, Daniil Medvedev reached the semi-finals with a comprehensive 6-2, 6-3 victory over Alejandro Davidovich Fokina. The world No. 4 awaits the winner of Hubert Hurkacz’s match against Ugo Humbert. Andrey Rublev and Alexander Bublik advanced to the semi-finals in Dubai following retirements in their quarter-final matches. Rublev is set to face Bublik in the next round.
