Leeds Supporter Who Fell at Stamford Bridge Revealed as Convicted Football Attacker

The Leeds United fan who fell from Stamford Bridge’s upper tier is identified as Aaron Cawley a football hooligan previously jailed for attacking Sheffield Wednesday’s goalkeeper in 2012. Cawley (33) served four months in prison and received a six years football ban for the assault.

Although his banning order was lifted in 2016, Leeds United confirmed he remains banned from club matches. Cawley recovering in the hospital after the fall during a celebration had a history of violence-related football bans including one at the age of 16. Chelsea won the FA Cup match 3-2 against Leeds United.
