Lewis Hamilton’s Wishes Granted: Mercedes Debuts Overhauled W15 in Bahrain

Mercedes has introduced significant changes to its W15 car for the Bahrain Grand Prix after facing issues with the previous year’s concept. The new design incorporates alterations requested by seven times world champion Lewis Hamilton including a more rearward cockpit position. Both Hamilton and teammate George Russell played a role in steering the team toward desired changes.

Russell expressed satisfaction with the modifications and emphasized the need to assess their impact on lap times. The adjustments aim to address handling and stability concerns faced by the drivers. Hamilton’s commitment to refining the W15 remains strong in his final season with Mercedes before joining Ferrari next year.
