Liverpool beat Fulham in a 7-goal thriller

In one of the craziest games this season, Liverpool emerged the winners as they saw off Fulham 4-3 at Anfield.

Trent Alexander-Arnold who scored against Manchester City last week, found the net again with a beautiful long range free kick on the 20th minute. However, the goal is registered as Fulham goalkeeper Bernd Leno’s own goal as the ball ricocheted off the post before hitting him and went into goal.

Ex-reds Harry Wilson, quickly levelled on minute 24 before Alexis Mac Allister struck a wondergoal for the home side on the 38th minute.

The home side’s hope to go into the break as leaders were broken three minutes into the stoppage time as Kenny Tete restored parity for Fulham.

Second half brought even more exciting entertainment as both team went hard for the winner. Bobby De Cordova-Reid thought he found one for Fulham with a strong header as Fulham led for the first time.

But Wataru Endo and Alexander-Arnold both scored fantastic goals at the end of the match to give all three points to Liverpool.

Liverpool will head out to Sheffield United next as Fulham will host Nottingham Forest on Thursday.
