Manchester United Held to Draw by Bournemouth as Winless Streak Persists

Manchester United twice fought back to secure a draw against Bournemouth as their winless streak in the Premier League extended to four games. Captain Bruno Fernandes scored both goals for United equalizing after Dominic Solanke opener and again after Justin Kluivert gave Bournemouth the lead at halftime.

Solanke capitalized on a chance in the 16th minute putting Bournemouth ahead with a low finish past Willy Kambwala. Bournemouth continued to press with Andre Onana making key saves and United struggling defensively. Fernandes leveled the score from Alejandro Garnacho assist but Kluivert quickly restored Bournemouth lead.

Despite Bournemouth missed chances, Fernandes scored again from a penalty midway through the second half equalizing once more. United dropped to seventh place in the league after Newcastle United win earlier in the day. Bournemouth in 12th place thought they had a late penalty but it was overturned by VAR.
