The former Arsenal captain and Chelsea player scored the opening goal in Olympique Marseille’s 2-2 draw against Shakhtar Donetsk. Aubameyang (34) has accumulated 30 goals in the Europa League throughout his career playing for Borussia Dortmund, Arsenal, Barcelona and Marseille. This record excludes goals scored before the competition was rebranded from the UEFA Cup. Henrik Larsson remains the overall top scorer if those goals are included with 31 just one ahead of Aubameyang, Falcao and Klaas-Jan Huntelaar.
