Ngannou Speaks Out: Early Arrival, Late Start Blamed for Loss to Joshua

Francis Ngannou believes the late start time of his fight against Anthony Joshua in Saudi Arabia impacted his performance. Despite both fighters starting at 3 am local time, Ngannou claims he was at the arena much earlier than necessary potentially affecting his fatigue levels.

Ngannou recalls being surprised by the punches he received and admits to having patchy memory of the fight, particularly after the first round. He expressed confusion and disorientation after being knocked downindicating he wasn’t fully present during the match.
