Nottingham Forest Holds Palace to Draw Amidst Points Deduction Controversy

In their first match since receiving a Premier League points deduction, Nottingham Forest moved out of the relegation zone with a 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace. The deduction, which they are appealing had seen them drop into the bottom three.

Despite falling behind to an early goal from Jean-Philippe Mateta, Forest fought back and equalized through a looping header from Wood. The result leaves Forest out of the relegation places on goal difference while Palace remains in 14th. Nuno Espirito Santo praised Forest performance while Palace manager Oliver Glasner felt his side dropped two points.

Adam Wharton performance was highlighted for his passing ability, despite his need to improve physically. Next, Forest faces Fulham while Palace takes on Bournemouth and Manchester City.
