Only time has the fate of Manchester City

MSPORTS – In a significant development, Manchester City and the Premier League have finally reached an agreement on the hearing date for the case involving the club’s alleged breach of Financial Fair Play (FFP) regulations.

The reigning English champions were charged with violating 115 FFP regulations back in February. The verdict on these allegations, spanning from the 2009/10 season to the present, is expected to be delivered in the summer of 2025.

Despite the charges, Manchester City has vehemently denied any misconduct. Head coach Pep Guardiola addressed the situation, stating, ‘I know many would want us to get into trouble. But we are innocent until proven guilty.’

Guardiola emphasized that his future with the club is not contingent on the league they will participate in, stating, ‘I will not decide my future based on our standings in the table. The chance for me to stay is greater if we play in the Championships compared to the Champions League.'”
