Ross County Springs Surprise on Rangers with Remarkable Comeback Win

Ross County secured a historic victory over Rangers in the Scottish Premiership coming from behind to win for the first time against their opponents. Despite Rangers taking the lead through Jack Baldwin own goal, Ross County turned the game around with goals from Simon Murray, George Harmon and Josh Sims. Rangers managed to pull one back with a late penalty from James Tavernier but it wasn’t enough to deny Ross County the win.

This victory gives Ross County a much-needed boost in their battle to avoid relegation. On the other hand, Rangers’ title hopes took a hit with this defeat leaving them trailing by four points at the top of the table. Both managers expressed their disappointment with their team’s performance, highlighting defensive lapses and missed opportunities.

Ross County interim manager, Don Cowie praised his team’s effort and determination while Rangers’ manager, Philippe Clement acknowledged the need for improvement. Ross County will look to build on this result in their upcoming fixtures while Rangers will aim to bounce back in their next matches.
