Southampton’s Frustration: Russell Martin Questions Team’s Courage in Defeat to Hull City

Southampton manager Russell Martin expressed disappointment and frustration after his team’s unbeaten home record of five months was ended by Hull City. The Saints fell 2-0 behind in the first 36 minutes and despite pulling one goal back, they couldn’t extend their 13 matchs unbeaten run at St Mary’s.

Martin criticized his team’s lack of courage in the first half and emphasized the need for bravery. He acknowledged Hull’s performance and hopes Southampton can bounce back when they face Millwall in the Championship. Martin is determined to see a response from his team on Saturday and wants them to display their true footballing identity.
