Stephen Curry Historic Night Propels Warriors to Victory Over Lakers

On Thursday, the Golden State Warriors secured a 128-110 victory against the Los Angeles Lakers at the Chase Center in San Francisco. Stephen Curry played a pivotal role contributing 32 points, one rebound, eight assists and three steals in 32 minutes. During the game, Stephen Curry achieved a milestone by becoming the first player in franchise history to record 6,000 career regular season assists.

He now aims to surpass Baron Davis’s 6,025 assists to move up to 40th on the all-time list. Additionally, Stephen Curry is just five points away from surpassing Hall of Famer Elgin Baylor for 33rd on the all-time scoring list. Despite approaching 36, the ten times NBA All-Star continues to deliver an impressive season with MVP-level performances.

The Warriors with a 28-26 record currently hold the tenth seed in the Western Conference displaying a strong 7-1 performance in their last eight games. Their next challenge is against the Charlotte Hornets at the Chase Center.
