Thrilling Night in Rotterdam: Aspinall Triumphs, Smith Secures Final Spot

Nathan Aspinall secured his second Premier League darts victory of the season by defeating Michael Smith 6-4 in the Night 12 final in Rotterdam. Aspinall staged an impressive comeback against Luke Humphries in the semi-finals eventually winning 6-4. In the final, Aspinall took an early lead and maintained control despite Smith efforts to claw back. Aspinall credited his consistent scoring, particularly his 140s, for his success.

He emphasized his ability to stay focused and dig deep in challenging situations exemplified by his comeback against Humphries. Meanwhile, Luke Littler was eliminated in the quarter-finals and Smith advanced to the final after defeating Gerwyn Price. Despite Price strong performance, Smith secured his spot in the final with a narrow victory.
