West Bromwich Albion currently in contention for a Championship play-off spot has secured the signing of former Sunderland and Inter Milan midfielder Yann M’Vila on a short terms deal until the end of the season.
The 33 years old France international a free agent since leaving Olympiacos in July reunites with Baggies boss Carlos Corberan whom he previously worked with at the Greek Superleague side.
While Corberan acknowledges the need for patience in building up M’Vila’s fitness after seven months without a club he sees the addition as a positive option for the squad.
West Bromwich Albion is presently fifth in the Championship standings.
