World Rugby Rankings Update: Italy Climbs to 10th, Creating Excitement for Final Six Nations Weekend

Italy has returned to the top 10 in the latest World Rugby rankings for the first time since June 2013 after their 13-13 draw with France in the Six Nations. This result caused France and England to drop in points making the competition between fourth and sixth places tight.

Wales despite not winning a game yet could achieve their best ranking in over two and a half years if they beat France and Italy by more than 15 points, Ireland beats England and Scotland and Scotland loses by 15 or more points to Italy. The new rankings see South Africa at the top followed by Ireland and New Zealand.

France, England and Scotland hold the fourth, fifth and sixth positions respectively with Italy making a significant jump to the 10th spot. The final standings will become clearer after the last weekend of the Six Nations.
